River Leny POV

February 27, 2012 in Uncategorized

The river Leny is a small river just north of Callander in Scotland. Fed from Loch Lubnaig, it runs south into the River Teith. It picks up pace from grade 2 whitewater, to 3 or 3+ before its crescendo at the grade 5 Falls of Leny.

At the falls you can fall off the right-hand side or paddle round the left-hand dog leg. Then you’re back down through the grades as you head for the Lade Inn and well deserved pint. Its a great wee river with loads of training spots for all levels of paddler.

Here’s a quick blast with myself and George Fell.
